With Canadian forwards Daniel Ciampini and Braden Christoffer the HC TWK Innsbruck presented two more new arrivals for the 2020/21 bet-at-home ICE Hockey League campaign. Both had a very good last season with Norwegian side Stjernen Hockey, leading the club's scoring lists with an average of over one point per game. The 29-year-old Daniel Ciampini played in various North American leagues before his time in Norway, including four clubs in the American Hockey League. He scored 31 points (13 goals) in a total of 116 AHL matches. Braden Christoffer (26) also played in the AHL for most of his career to date. He scored 38 points (19 goals) in 193 AHL appearances. In addition to his scoring qualities, the physical play is one of his strengths.

New defender for Villach
The EC VSV signed 31-year-old defender Matt Mangene. The US-American comes from AHL side Springfield Thunderbirds to play in Europe for the first time. In a total of 432 AHL appearances, he scored 152 points, including 39 goals.

Manuel Geier stays with Klagenfurt
The EC-KAC announced the contract extension with forward Manuel Geier for the 2020-21 campaign. The 32-year-old, who has already won three championship titles, is entering his 13th season with the club. Last season, the Styrian was only the seventh KAC player to score his 100th league goal for the club since the league was newly-founded in 2000.

Five Capitals talents move up
Patrick Antal (19 years old), Timo Pallierer (19), Bernhard Posch (19), Armin Preiser (19) and Sebastian Wraneschitz (18) signed their first pro contracts with the spusu Vienna Capitals. The five talents are now part of Dave Cameron's team for the upcoming season.
