Innsbruck captures win in shoot-out

The HC TWK Innsbruck won also the third duel of this season against Fehervar. The host fought back after trailing by two goals and Andrew Yogan captured the win in shoot-out.

The Innsbrucker Haie had troubles to find their rhythm in the first period. Fehervar played with high intensity and created many chances. Juha Uotila opened the scoring in the sixths minute. Only two minutes later Luka Vidmar doubled the lead. Fehervar missed a couple of possibilities to further increase the lead. The hosts found their rhythm in the second period and increased intensity. Jeremie Blain already celebrated the first goal for his team, but the goal was denied by referees because of goaltender interference. Innsbruck kept on pressuring and succeeded in the 31st minute with a goal of Fabio Schramm. At this time Innsbruck fully took control over the game. Hunter Bushop scored the equalizer in powerplay still in the second. Florian Pedevilla had to leave the ice in the beginning of the third because of spearing. Fehervar capitalized on the double powerplay and recaptured the lead after a goal of Janos Hari.Andrew Clark managed to tie the game again. In the final minutes Innsbruck pressured for the win in regular time, but didn’t succeed. In overtime the hosts had couple of chances but MacMillan Carruth proofed his reactions. In an exciting penalty shoot-out Andrew Yogan scored the decisive goal for the win of Innsbruck.
