On Saturday, HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie claimed their second win of the win2day ICE Hockey League season at HK SZ Olimpija. Brady Shaw and Lukas Baer turned around a one-goal deficit for the Tyroleans and ensured a 2-1 win. The Slovenians remained without a point win for the first time in this young season.

HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie successfully completed its first road trip in this win2day ICE Hockey League season. After the clear defeat on Friday in Villach, the Tyroleans celebrated a 2-1 win at HK SZ Olimpija on Saturday and thus also won the ninth meeting with the Slovenians. After Trevor Gooch gave the Dragons the lead (26.), ICE MVP Brady Shaw equalized with his first goal of the season ten seconds before the second intermission. Right after the restart Nicholas Albano assisted Lukas Bär (41.) exemplarily and the Austrian netted the early game-winner.
