Alps Hockey League:
Sat, 29.10.2022, 18:00: HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice - Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan
Referees: HLAVATY, WIDMANN, Schonaklener, Voican | >> PPV-Livestream <<

Jesenice extended their lead in the standings with a 4:1 win in Klobenstein on Wednesday. The Slovenians won ten of their eleven league games in regulation, only losing to the Unterland Cavaliers in the second round. Zan Jezovsek leads the league scoring list with 13 goals, nine of which he scored at home. After two wins, Sterzing had to admit defeat at home to Meran during the week. The Broncos are in seventh place in the table thanks to their strength away from home, with head coach Jussi Tupamäki's team winning four of their six road games. In the Alps Hockey League, however, the Wipptalers are still winless in Jesenice, recording only one point in seven games.

Sat, 29.10.2022, 19:00: EC-KAC Future Team - Rittner Buam SkyAlps
Referees: BAJT, WUNTSCHEK, Arlic, Javornik | >> PPV-Livestream <<

The EC-KAC Future Team caused a big surprise on Wednesday, the Klagenfurt side won at Cortina after shootout and celebrated their fifth win of the season. The Carinthians are in eleventh place, one place behind their upcoming opponents Ritten, who lost out to Jesenice two days ago. The South Tyroleans have alternated between win and loss in the last four games. And also their AHL record in Klagenfurt is balanced with three wins and three losses. But just the last three duels went to the KAC, who, however, had to admit defeat at home five times in a row this season.

Sat, 29.10.2022, 19:15: Red Bull Hockey Juniors - EC Bregenzerwald
Referees: DURCHNER, KAINBERGER, Seewald, Telesklav | >> FREE Livestream <<

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors are currently in fourth place in the table after 14 games. On Wednesday, the Salzburgers prevailed after overtime in Kitzbühel. Nevertheless, the Red Bulls' offence is a bit struggling, with only three goals scored in the last three games. Bregenzerwald suffered a 6:0 home defeat against Gardena on Tuesday, their third defeat in a row. In twelve matches, the Vorarlberg team has collected 17 points so far. The ice rink in Salzburg is not the favourite destination of EC Bregenzerwald. They have never been able to gain a single point there, all eight duels went to the Juniors.

Sat, 29.10.2022, 19:15: Steinbach Steel Wings Linz - Hockey Unterland Cavaliers
Referees: LEHNER, MILOVANOVIC, Legat, Murnik | >> PPV-Livestream <<

The Steel Wings never gave up on Wednesday despite trailing 4:0 in Zell am See and even got within a goal, but in the end they suffered their eleventh defeat in their twelfth game with a 5:3 loss. The Upper Austrians' only win of the season came at home against Kitzbühel, and on Saturday they welcome the Unterland Cavaliers for their first direct encounter. The league newcomers defeated Fassa on Wednesday after shootout and are currently in fifth place. After the team from Neumarkt recorded two away wins at the beginning of the season, the South Tyroleans recently lost three in a row.

Sat, 29.10.2022, 19:30: EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel - S.G. Cortina Hafro
Referees: KUMMER, MEIXNER, Kanyo, Wucherer | >> PPV-Livestream <<

Although both Kitzbühel and Cortina were defeated on Wednesday after overtime and shootout respectively, both teams can show an impressive series: the Tyroleans gained at least one point in their last six games, Cortina is unbeaten in regulation for eleven games. While the KEC is in sixth place, the Italians are the first chaser of leader Jesenice. Cortina won ten of eleven AHL duels against Kitzbühel, the only victory the Austrians celebrated at home in January 2020. While the Italians have the second-best defence in the league, Kitzbühel's offence is among the best.

Sat, 29.10.2022, 19:30: EHC Lustenau - HC Meran/o Pircher
Referees: HOLZER, LAZZERI, Bedana, Spiegel | >> PPV-Livestream <<

With two wins out of the last three games, EHC Lustenau showed rising form lately. Now the team from Vorarlberg wants to get their first win of the season at home against Meran in the Rheinhalle. The two imports Ryan Hayes and Niclas Lucenius will make their home debut in this game - Hayes already played in the two road games against Jesenice and KAC, Lucenius will make his first appearance in the Lustenau jersey. The guests from South Tyrol are one place ahead of the hosts with eleven points from twelve games. They won three of the last four games and come to Vorarlberg with a lot of self-confidence. In the only AHL duel so far, the EHC celebrated a 3:0 victory.

Sat, 29.10.2022, 20:30: SHC Fassa Falcons - EK Die Zeller Eisbären
Referees: EGGER, SCHAUER, Brondi, Cristeli | >> PPV-Livestream <<

Fassa had to admit defeat away from home twice last time. The Italians - who are currently on rank twelve - got eight of their eleven points at home. The Falcons recently changed their head coach. Marco Liberatore is no longer head coach of the Italians. Temporarily, Luigi Marchetti will take over and now he will coach the team at home for the first time. The guests are the Zeller Eisbären, who have won their last six games and are in third place. With 50 goals so far, the Salzburg side, together with Jesenice, have the best offence in the league. Tomi Wilenius leads the team's scoring with 17 points (9G, 8A).
