HC Gherdeina valgardena.it currently has the longest winning streak in the Alps Hockey League available: The South Tyroleans have now gone six games without defeat, scoring an average of 4.7 goals more than in the first eleven games of the season. This offensive power has lifted the "Furie" to eighth place in standings. Challengers BEMER VEU Feldkirch, on the other hand, have already gone seven games without win and are second-last. Only 29 goals (16 games) were scored by the Vorarlberg team this season, and only 6.7% of their power plays are successful. VEU is still missing the suspended Alex Caffi. The two teams will meet for the first time this season.

Especially the special teams didn't find the punch yet, both on the powerplay (12.5%) and in penalty killing (66.7%) they need to catch up. This pairing is also taking place for the first time this season.
