With Joseph Mizzi the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan announced another high-profile new signing. The 24-year-old, who was last active in Bolzano, was the last addition to the squad of the Broncos. At the EC-KAC Future Team the sqaud for the coming season is completed too. New signings and contract extensions were also announced at Gherdeina, Cortina, Hockey Unterland, Bregenzerwald and Jesenice.

Mizzi last addition to the squad of Vipiteno
The squad of the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan is complete. 24-year-old Joseph Mizzi was the last new signing for the coming season. The forward already played one and a half seasons in the AHL with the Fassa Falcons (73 points). Last season he was active in the win2day ICE Hockey League with the HCB Südtirol Alperia (8 points). Besides Mizzi, Remy Giftopoulos also joined the Broncos. It will already be the third AHL club for the Canadian. So far the 29-year-old spent two seasons with Cortina (2019-2021) and playing last campaign with Lustenau (49 points).

Yuri Cristellon joins Gherdeina
21-year-old Yuri Cristellon will play for the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it in the coming season. The forward was last active with Vipiteno, scoring nine points in 30 appearances. Additionally, the South Tyroleans announced the contract extensions with goalkeeper Paul Hofer and the forwards Leo Messner and Max Oberrauch.

Squad of KAC Future Team is completed
The EC-KAC Future Team will start the upcoming AHL season with the youngest squad in history (average age 19). The red-white second team will again be led by long-time Slovenian international Andrej Tavželj.

Three new signings in Cortina
With Tommaso Traversa (F), Diego Cuglietta (F) and Jason Seed (D), S.G. Cortina Hafro announced three new signings for the coming season. 32-year-old Traversa last played with the Sheffield Steelers. Before that he already played 228 Alps Hockey League games with Ritten and Pustertal. For the Canadians Cuglietta and Seed it will be the first season in Italy.

Further contract extensions at Hockey Unterland
With forwards Davide Girardi and Moritz Kaufmann as well as defender Lukas Goldner three youngsters stay with league newcomer Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. All three players are no older than 20-years and will play in the AHL for the first time.

Fässler stays with Bregenzerwald
Kai Fässler will enter his seventh season with the EC Bregenzerwald. So far the 23-year-old left wing played 174 AHL games, scoring 34 points.

Sojer joins Jesenice
Youngstar Mark Sojer will play for HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice in the coming season. The 20-year-old started his career in Ljubljana and later joined Villach, where he played with the second team. Now the forward returns to Slovenia and will play in Jesenice.
