Red Bull Hockey Juniors secured three points in the Alps Hockey League in a 7:4 goal festival against EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. Although the visitors took the lead through a powerplay goal by Ralfs Jevdokimovs (10th), the Salzburgers quickly turned the game in their favour and went into the first intermission with a 3:2 advantage. The home side always doubled their lead, but Kitzbühel answered promptly. At 5:4, the Juniors kept up the pressure on the visitors' goalkeeper Paul Mocher and were finally rewarded with the second goal by Quirin Bader. Three minutes before the end, guest coach Pewal pulled his goalie and Max Jelavic finally scored into the empty net for the 7:4 final score.

Cortina secures three points in the final period
The EC-KAC Future Team faced Cortina with the youngest line-up of the season so far (average age: 19.8 years). Despite a courageous performance of the Carinthians, who were able to equalise a deficit twice, it was not enough for points against the third-placed team. Gabriele Parini gave the Italians the lead for the third time that evening in the 50th minute. Further goals by Mikael Saha (53rd) and Jason Seed (57th /EN) finally ensured the 5:2 road victory. Cortina also took revenge for their home defeat just a month ago.
