The semi-finals of the Alps Hockey League continue on Tuesday with the fourth games of the best-of-seven series. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors and Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan both have the chance for match pucks in front of a home crowd.

3:2 in favour of the away team - these were the results of the previous three semi-final duels between Cortina and the Juniors, with the Salzburg team prevailing in overtime both times. In last year's series - in which the Italians won game 7 and advanced to the final - five games were even decided by just one goal difference. The Juniors have won five of their last seven home games, with the two defeats coming against Cortina. The reigning runners-up have won their last five away games, and Cortina have even won six in a row at the Eisarena Salzburg.

Standings in the "best-of-seven" series 2:1

After all three games between Ritten and Sterzing, the scoreboard was 4:2. On Tuesday, the Rittner Buam won at home, on Thursday in Sterzing and on Saturday on the Ritten, however, the Broncos prevailed and now lead the series 2:1. The fourth game of the best-of-seven series is now on the programme on Tuesday in the Weihenstephan Arena. The Broncos have won their three home playoff games so far and have been particularly strong in third periods, scoring 8:1 goals. The Buam have never lost three games in a row this season. Only Robert Öhler is questionable from the line-up of the first AHL champions.
