With Swedish defenseman Isak Norlin as well as Latvian forwards Antons Macijevskis and Edvins Berzins, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors have added three internationally trained players to their roster. The trio is expected to provide the young Salzburg team with additional quality, competition, and depth.

Four more players added to the roster for the first time
In addition to the three international additions, the club has also secured the services of four promising young talents in Daniil Sladkov (GER), Nico Koschek (AUT), Luca Fischer (AUT), and Ben Reisnecker (GER).

Ten players part of extended professional squad
The close cooperation between the Red Bull Hockey Juniors and the EC Red Bull Salzburg professional team remains a key element of the player development program in the 2026/27 season. Goaltender Luca Haitzmann, defensemen Fabian Baumann, Alexander Rebernig, and Jakob Schnabl, as well as forwards Maximilian Wurzer, Adrian Gesson, Florian Lanzinger, Luca Kogler, Nikita Bloch, and Nico Koschek, are part of the extended professional squad and will be closely integrated into the first team’s training operations.

The ten players are eligible to play for both EC Red Bull Salzburg and the Red Bull Hockey Juniors. Through regular work in the professional environment, they will be gradually prepared for the level of the win2day ICE Hockey League while continuing to gain valuable game experience in the Alps Hockey League.

Haitzmann, Baumann, Schnabl, Wurzer, Lanzinger, Kogler, and Koschek are listed on the current Juniors roster. Rebernig, Gesson, and Bloch will primarily be part of the professional setup but remain available for Red Bull Hockey Juniors games within the framework of player movement regulations.

Kitzbühel complete roster with Swedish center
Shortly before the start of preseason, EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel have finalized their roster planning for the upcoming season. Swedish center Jacob Grönhagen becomes the latest Scandinavian addition to the team from the Gamsstadt. The club will begin the 2026/27 season with five import players.

Grönhagen began his career with Värmdö HC, where he progressed through all youth levels. The next major step in his development came with his move to HV71 in Stockholm. There, he played at various levels from U18 up to the senior team, which competes in the SHL, Sweden’s top division.

In 2021, the Swede moved to Karlskrona in the third tier of Swedish hockey before joining Kristianstad in the second division in 2022. Most recently, Grönhagen was under contract with Almtuna IS.
