The Red Bull Hockey Juniors celebrated a 2–1 home victory after overtime against Hafro Cortina Hockey in Tuesday’s only Alps Hockey League game. In a balanced first period, Cortina took the lead ten minutes in through a one-timer by Giorgio Panciera. Only 41 seconds later, Maxim Eliseev — the league’s current top scorer — equalized with a precise finish. Salzburg had more of the game as it went on, but neither team managed another goal in regulation time.

Three minutes into overtime, Wurzer battled hard to win the puck and left goaltender Antti Karjalainen no chance with his shot. The victory lifted the Juniors back into first place, while the Italians, now eighth in the standings, suffered their seventh consecutive road defeat.
