The Juniors have picked up 25 points in their last ten games - more than any other team. The situation is completely different for the KAC Future Team, which has not recorded a single point from its last ten games and is bottom of the table. This picture was also confirmed on Tuesday in the opening period, as Salzburg took the lead after five minutes through Daniels Murnieks. After a beautiful pass, Jesse Helander (7') scored with an onetimer - it was the Finn's fifth goal in a row - and Julius Ramoser (9') fired a shot from half-distance into the corner of the net to make it 3:0. The hosts' superiority increased further in the middle period. When the Juniors played for a long time in the offensive end, Maximilian Kirchebner increased their lead with the fourth goal of the evening. Klagenfurt scored their only goal on one of the few attacks in the 28th minute. Nico Kramer beat Salzburg goalkeeper Pfarrmaier at the second attempt. The teams went into the second break with the score at 4:1. In the third period, Kalle Myllymaa, who has a eight-game point streak, restored the four-goal gap. Devin Steffler finally made the score 6:1 on power play. With their third win in a row, the Juniors moved up to fifth place in the table.
