Headcoach Jure Vnuk and Assistant Coach Matej Hocevar continue working at HK SZ Olimpija in the upcoming season as well. The club from Ljubljana has also presented a roster of 16 Slovenian players. Plus: Transfer news from Feldkirch, Jesenice and Kitzbühel.

The two best goal-scorers stay in Jesenice
The key-players Tadej Cimzar and Luka Kalan will go for goals and points for HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice in the upcoming season as well. The two Slovenian forwards have been the best goalscorers in their team 2017/18: Luka Kalan netted 22 goals (and 23 Assists) out of 48 Alps Hockey League-games, Tadej Cimzar potted 20 goals (and 28 Assists) out of 47 games.
 
Ljubljana trusts in Slovenian players
HK SZ Olimpija presented a roster of 16 Slovenian players for the upcoming season. New arrivals are goalie Zan Us, the defensemen David Planko and Nejc Brus and forward Zan Jezovsek. 21-year old goalie Zan Us has played for Triglav Kranj in Slovenia and for Epinal in France last season. Zan Jezovsek, David Planko and Youngster Nejc Brus went from rival Jesenice to Ljubljana. Besides, goalie Tilen Spreitzer, Žiga Svete, Gal Koren, Luka Zorko, Nik Grahut, Aljaž Chvatal, Janez Orehek, Miha Zajc, Uroš Batič, Luka Ulamec, Mark Sever, Sašo Rajsar continue playing for the dragons. Jure Vnuk continues working as the Headcoach in the Slovenian Capital and Matej Hocevar will be the Assistant Coach in Ljubljana in the 2018/19-season as well.
 
Pointbest defenseman stays in Kitzbühel
With David Lidström a key-player stays in Kitzbühel! The 30-year old Swede has been the Pointbest defenseman in the team last season, he had 34 points (10G/24A)  out of 40 Alps Hockey League-games. Prior joining EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, the defenseman played for teams in Sweden (unti 2016) and then for one year in Denmark, where he became Champion with Esbjerg Energy 2016/17.
 
Divis joins Feldkirch
Youngster Dominic Divis will play in his home-town Feldkirch next season. The 21-year old goalie has already guarded the Voralbergers' net four times 2016/17. Divis has been goalie of EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz lately, but he did not play a match last season. Goalie Michael Sparr left Feldkirch.
 
Seven players leave Bruneck
Patrick Bona, Alexander Kinkelin, Lukas Tauber, Maximilian Lancsar, Nate DiCasmirro, Benno Obermair, Elias Thum leave Bruneck. And Giffen Nyren and Ivan Deluca (to: Bozen) left Sterzing.
