Salzburg will face the Lahti Pelicans in the round of 16
After EC Red Bull Salzburg played its last game of the league phase against Sparta Prague on Tuesday (1-2), the final standings in the CHL league phase have now been determined after the end of the last matchday. The Red Bulls are in 8th place with four wins and two defeats and will therefore face the Finnish top club Lahti Pelicans. The two round of 16 games against the Lahti Pelicans are scheduled for November 12/13 and 19/20.

This is the eighth time the Red Bulls have reached the knockout round of Europe's premier league in their ninth appearance. Their greatest success to date was the semi-final of the 2018/19 season, in which the Salzburg team lost out to their Red Bull colleagues from Munich.
