EC-KAC turned Tuesday’s game around after falling behind 0-2 against the spusu Vienna Capitals. Initially, the Caps looked fired up, aiming to build on their recent victory over Innsbruck. Two rebound goals in the first period put the home team up 2-0. Jeremy Gregoire celebrated one of those goals, marking his return from injury. But EC-KAC wasted no time mounting a comeback in the second period: Matt Fraser first closed the gap, then Johannes Bischofberger tied it up with a shorthanded goal. In the final period, momentum fully shifted to KAC as the visitors from Klagenfurt scored twice in 13 seconds to make it 4-2. The Caps fought back, adding another goal to tighten the score, but KAC had reserves left, and Maximilian Preiml sealed the deal just a minute later, setting the final score at 5-3 for Klagenfurt. With this win, KAC remains within reach of the top six, while the Caps drop to ninth place.

"Giant Slayer" Strikes Again
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey has done it again. For the second time in four days, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey took down the Moser Medical Graz99ers. After previously beating league leaders HCB Südtirol Alperia and reigning champs EC Red Bull Salzburg, the Northern Italians can now officially be dubbed "Giant Slayers." After a scoreless first period, the Yellow-Reds came alive in the second, storming ahead to a 3-0 lead. Graz couldn’t find their way back into the game and ultimately fell 0-4. For the Styrians, who were at the top of the standings just two weeks ago, this was their fourth loss in the last six games. Asiago, however, has climbed to eighth place after winning three of their last four games and celebrated their second shutout win in the past four matches.

Fehérvár Closing in on League Leaders
Hydro Fehérvár AV19 continues to be the hottest team in the league. The Hungarians celebrated a 2-1 road win against Olimpija Ljubljana – marking their fifth consecutive full-point victory. The hosts from Ljubljana, who had started the season strong, took their second loss in three days. The Slovenians opened the scoring less than four minutes into the game, but a double strike within 30 seconds turned things around by the end of the first period. As they’ve done many times this season, Fehérvár held onto their lead with poise, securing the 2-1 scoreline through the remaining two periods. With this win, the Hungarians are now just three points behind Bolzano at the top of the standings.
