The 28-year-old Steven Strong has spent his entire professional career so far with the EC-KAC: After four junior years in the OHL and two seasons in college, he joined the Carinthians in the summer of 2015 and has represented them without interruption ever since. The defender, who matured into an international player in Klagenfurt (41 international appearances, three World Cup participations), has so far played 325 league games for the Klagenfurt side, recording 64 points (23 goals, 41 assists) and a good plus/minus balance of +37. The past season 2020/21 was Steven Strong's best in terms of scoring points in the jersey of the EC-KAC. In the playoffs he was the skater with the highest average time-on-ice of all cracks in the squad (21:25 minutes per action).

Niklas Würschl (21) went through junior training with the EC-KAC before honing his skills as a junior player in four years with Rögle BK in Sweden. He returned to his hometown of Klagenfurt in the summer of 2018, since when he has taken a leading position in the Alps Hockey League team and has recently also been stepping up to the first team. He also scored his first goal in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League with the game-winning goal in the 3:1 win at the iClinic Bratislava Capitals on 11 December.
