KAC goes with Thomas Koch into the next two seasons

Thomas Koch, who has already celebrated nine championships in his professional career, remains with the EC-KAC. The club and the now 36-year-old agreed to continue their cooperation for two more seasons even before the premature termination of last campaign.

Thomas Koch made his debut on senior level in December 1999 at the age of only 16 years in the EC-KAC team, since then he has only represented the Swedish top team Luleå Hockey (2004 to 2006) and EC Salzburg (2006 to 2011) in addition to his regular club. For these three clubs as well as the Austrian senior national team, the forward has played in an almost unbelievable 1,383 professional career games so far. In a total of 770 of these, he played for Klagenfurt, collecting 597 points (204 goals, 393 assists) and summing up with a plus/minus record of +137. The 36-year-old will also be lacing his shoes for the red jackets in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. The new contract of the home-grown player runs until the end of the 2021/22 season.
