Pioneers battle hard against GCK Lions
Pioneers Vorarlberg also gave the GCK Lions a tough test in their preseason matchup. Just like in Klagenfurt, all goals came in the final period. The Swiss visitors jumped out to a two-goal lead before Pioneers forward Noha Serdachny cut the deficit to 1-2 and brought his team back into contention. The Lions, however, had the final say, adding another goal to secure a 3-1 victory.
