Josh Teves joins Klagenfurt with immediate effect and has signed a contract that runs until the end of the season. Murray will be sidelined for several months following surgery, and the club is also short of defensive options due to player absences at the U20 World Championship.

Teves, a native of Calgary, made one NHL appearance for the Vancouver Canucks in 2019. He then spent three seasons in the AHL and a brief stint in the ECHL. Since 2022, he has played in Europe for JYP (Finland), SC Bern (Switzerland), HCB Südtirol, and most recently HC Košice, with whom he captured the Slovak championship in 2024. In the 2023/24 win2day ICE Hockey League season, Teves posted 36 points (9 goals, 27 assists) in 60 games for Bolzano.
