David Kickert is back with the Vienna Capitals. In 2017 he won the championship with the Viennese. After that he moved to the EC GRAND Immo VSV and then to the Steinbach Black Wings Linz. Last season, he also played in the DEL, for the Augsburg Panther. Additionally the Slovenian Aljaz Predan has received a professional contract with the EC Red Bull Salzburg. Last season, the 20-years-old already played twelve games for RBS in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. In addition, the forward has been on the ice 109 times for the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in the Alps Hockey League over the past three seasons.

Kickert returns to Vienna
David Kickert is back with the Vienna Capitals. In 2017 he won the championship with the Viennese. After that he moved to the EC GRAND Immo VSV and then to the Steinbach Black Wings Linz. Last season, he also played in the DEL, for the Augsburg Panther.
For David Kickert it is not the first return to the Caps. After winning the championship title in 2017 and leaving for Villach the following summer, he supported the Capitals in the 2018 Playoffs on loan as a second goalie. After that he went to Linz where he guarded the Steinbach Black Wings Linz goal for three seasons. Last spring, Kickert got the chance to play for the DEL club Augsburger Panther, where he played a total of five games.

Predan receives professional contract
Aljaz Predan came to Salzburg in 2015 and played in the U18 Red Bulls Hockey Rookies Cup and the Austrian U20 League in his first two years. Since 2018, the Slovenian with an Austrian license played with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in the Alps Hockey League and was also twice Austrian AHL champion with the Juniors.

On January 26th, 2020, Predan made his debut with Salzburg's professional team in the home game against Villach and immediately recorded his first assist. In the past ICE Hockey League season, he added twelve more games and a second assist. At the same time, he played 27 games in the AHL. The forward is the eighth academy player to get the chance to earn his spot on the Red Bulls' pro team in the new season.
