The fans in Jesenice witnessed an entertaining and intense game, which ultimately went in Kitzbühel’s favor. The visitors took an early lead through Mitrovic, but the Slovenians turned the game around before the end of the first period, as Svetina, Sodja Zalokar, and Bohinc made it 3–1. In the middle frame, Tyrolean forward Mai Crnkic cut the deficit to 3–2, and that score remained until the closing seconds of regulation. With just 30 seconds left on the clock, Crnkic scored the equalizer, and in overtime, the Slovenian completed his hat-trick to seal the much-celebrated road victory for the now second-placed eagles.

HC Migross Asiago continued their winning streak with a 4–1 home triumph against EC Bregenzerwald. Rigoni opened the scoring for the hosts after just 98 seconds. In the second period, Lipsbergs tied the game briefly, but captain Magnabosco restored Asiago’s lead shortly before the second intermission. Porco (46’) extended the advantage early in the third, and Chiodo sealed the final score with an empty-net goal. With their third win in a row, the Italians climbed to seventh place.
