Patrik Kittinger (#61) of EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, time 39:08, was involved in an incident deemed as Unsportsmanlike Conduct - IIHF Rule 75. Based on the video evidence, it is determined the incident to be
worthy of supplementary discipline.

According to the Arbitrator and having considered the video evidence and ruling of the AHL PSC, player Patrik Kittinger (#61) of EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel will receive supplementary discipline under rule 75 – Unsportsmanlike Conduct.

On Thursday night, November 4th, in Kitzbühel an incident occurred involving Kitzbühel player #61 Patrik Kittinger. At a stoppage Patrik Kittinger engaged in an altercUation with HC Meran/o player #12 Thomas Mitterer, against whom a delayed penalty was already signaled. After the two combatants were seperated Patrik Kittinger, on the way to the penalty-box taunted his opponent further with a detrimental body gesture.

The reason for supplementary discipline is Patrik Kittinger pointing at the opposing player in the penalty-box, followed by multiple hand gestures to his throat. We assume Patrik Kittinger thought this was a real threatening gesture. In reality, it is an intolerable body gesture. The gesture serves absolutely no purpose in the game and will not be tolerated. Considered a complete lack of integrity for the opposing team and the game.
