Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel are in the playoffs of the Alps Hockey League. The fourth-placed team in the table beat fifth-placed S.G. Cortina Hafro 8:0 on Sunday and can therefore no longer be displaced from the top five. The Tyroleans were already 3:0 ahead after the first period against a Italian team with a reduced squad, who won the first leg of the IHL Serie A final against Ritten 5:4 after overtime on Saturday. The “Eagles” added two more goals in the second period and also scored three times in the final period. Jayson Ren was the only player to score twice.

Unterland also wins second duel against Sisak
The Hockey Unterland Cavaliers also won their second duel against KHL Sisak within 24 hours. After the 5:2 victory on Saturday, the South Tyrolean team won this time by a narrow 4:3/SO. In the meantime, Sisak, who are seventh in the table, were already 2:0 ahead. After Unterland equalized at 2:2, the Croatians were able to take the lead once more, but the team in ninth place in the table once again had the right answer. Daniels Murnieks scored in the 39th minute to make it 3:3, and it was the center who converted the decisive penalty in the shootout.

Jesenice returns to winning ways
In the third game of the day, third-placed SIJ Acroni Jesenice won 3:2 after overtime at HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. It was the first win for the Slovenians after two consecutive defeats. Bottom-placed Val Gardena, on the other hand, were beaten for the third time in a row in the league. The home side got off to a lightning start in an evenly-matched game. Henri Mustonen put Val Gardena ahead after just 42 seconds. The score remained that way until the 16th minute, before Jesenice turned the game around within a minute with a brace from Jaka Sturm. Nothing happened after that until shortly before the end, but Val Gardena managed to equalize through Simon Pitschieler 54 seconds before the end of the game. However, the Slovenians secured the extra point in overtime and it was Jaka Sturm who scored again. It was the forward's first hat-trick of the season.
