Robin Gartner joins Kitzbühel
The EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel signed a two-time winner of the former Erste Bank Eishockey Liga with Robin Gartner. The defender won the title with the HCB Südtirol Alperia 2018 and the EC-KAC 2019. Last season, the now 31-year-old Swede – until his engagement in Bolzano he played 211 SHL games – played for the Dornbirn Bulldogs, scoring two goals and posting six assists.

"Kitzbühel is a beautiful place, I was already convinced of that during last season. I know the imports from past year and they told me only good things about the town and the club. President Volker Zeh and Sports Director Michael Widmoser made a great impression on me and that helped me a lot in my decision", says Robin Gartner about his move. "I see this as a new challenge in my career. I know that Kitzbühel has the ambition to get better every season and I am very happy to be a part of this team now".

In addition, the Tyroleans will be able to rely on Mario Ebner again next season. The 24-year-old defender extended his contract. The former Innsbruck player has already played 158 games for the "eagles" in the Alps Hockey League (10G|43A).

Broncos announces goalie trio
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan named their goalie trio for the upcoming season in the Alps Hockey League. In addition to the signing of Canadian Jonathan Reinhart, the contracts with Jakob Rabanser and Fabian Klammer have been extended. Reinhart is moving from the Canadian USports to the "Broncos", where he will play his first professional season overseas. He will be supported by the two young talents Rabanser and Klammer: Rabanser already received eleven season appearances last season, and showed a 91.9% save percentage. "We expect Jakob to be our main netminder soon. He wants to go there, he has the talent and the attitude for it, and for us as a club there would be nothing better than to finally play with a strong goalkeeper from our own youth department," says sports director Egon Gschnitzer, already looking ahead to the medium-term squad planning.

Ritten renewed seven contracts
For the new season in the Alps Hockey League, the Rittner Buam have supplemented their squad with further proven forces. With Alexander Eisath, Julian Kostner, Markus Spinell, Christoph Vigl, Philipp Pechlander, Kevin Fink and Stefan Quinz, the former AHL champion extended his squad with seven players.

Emil Bejmo strengthens Lustenau
EHC Lustenau announced the signing of Swedish forward Emil Bejmo. The 30-year-old Swede, born in Karlstad, thus completes the import contingent of the "stickers". Bejmo played for Mora IK last season in the second highest Swedish league. For the 30-year-old Swede, it is the second foreign stop after his engagement with Norwegian club Stjernen in the 2010/11 season. In his career so far, he has mainly played in the second highest Swedish league, but can also point to over 60 games in the SHL.  "Together with our new coach, we have made every effort to get Emil Bejmo on board. Despite being only 30 years old, he has a lot of experience from the strong Swedish leagues. I am sure that Emil is the expected reinforcement for our team," said Herbert Oberscheider, President of EHC Lustenau.
