win2day ICE Hockey League:
Tue, 21.02.2023, 19:15: Hydro Fehervar AV 19 - Steinbach Black Wings Linz
Referees: SMETANA, ZRNIC, Jedlicka, Konc | >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

In the duel between Fehérvár and Linz, two teams face each other for whom things have not gone according to plan at all in recent weeks. The Hungarians won three of their past ten games, Linz even got only two wins in the same period. In their last five games, the Upper Austrians even came off the ice as losers. The seventh-placed Upper Austrians are four points behind the top six with two games to go. The runners-up are five points behind Linz, but have played one game less - moreover, the two teams will meet twice in the final week of the regular season. The seventh-placed team can choose its opponent for the pre-playoff on Sunday, with the ninth- and tenth-placed sides available for selection. Fehérvár won the first two duels of the season with 2:1 and 1:0.

Tue, 21.02.2023, 19:15: HK SZ Olimpija - EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: STERNAT, TRILAR, Hribar, Zgonc | >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

Olimpija ended a three-game losing streak with a 3:2 win in Vorarlberg on Sunday to secure twelfth place. The Slovenians no longer have a chance of making the playoffs, but had strong performances with beating Vienna on the road or getting a point against the 99ers, for example. Salzburg conceded its third defeat in a row yesterday with a 2:6 loss in Graz. In the table, the Red Bulls are in second place, which would mean qualification for the CHL 2023/24. However, they are only one point ahead (with one game less) of Innsbruck. In the season duel with HK SZ Olimpija, the Salzburgers had the edge in all three meetings, winning the last game 5:1 in Ljubljana on January 24. The Red Bulls continue to have the biggest statistical advantage with their defense, conceding by far the fewest goals against (90) in the entire league.

Tue, 21.02.2023, 19:15: EC-KAC - BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg
Referees: GROZNIK, OFNER, Nothegger, Snoj

With a 4:2 away win in Linz, EC-KAC returned to fifth place in the table. The Klagenfurt side can get the quarterfinal ticket on their own with three points against the Pioneers Vorarlberg on Tuesday. The Carinthians would also qualify for the postseason if they get at least as many points as the Black Wings Linz in the parallel game. The last-place team in the standings ends its debut season in the win2day ICE Hockey League with a series of four road games between Tuesday and Sunday. From the three season duels with the Carinthians so far, the Vorarlberg team even recorded seven points. In the last home game of the regular season, the EC-KAC wants to improve its recent home record: In the eight matches played in the Heidi Horten Arena since Christmas, the Klagenfurt team only managed to earn the full three points twice.
