Lakers Kärnten, who came out on top 3:0 in the first season meeting, also got off to the better start on Friday. Adela Vavrova put the hosts ahead in the 13th minute. Graz showed an improvement compared to the clash two weeks ago, but were once again beaten. The Carinthians made things clear in the middle period with a double strike while short-handed within 15 seconds. Valentina Ropatsch scored first and then Reaghan Pietrowski made it 3:0. The Huskies managed to close the gap with a goal from Simone Graschner, but Alina Hinum made it all clear. The Lakers thus also took the lead in the AWHL table.
