Steinbach Black Wings Linz - EC-KAC
The EC-KAC celebrated a clear 5:2 home win against Linz on Sunday and now leads the “best-of-7” series 2:1. On Tuesday, the Upper Austrians want to equalize and can rely on their strong home advantage: With 22 wins from 29 home games (winning percentage: 75.9%), Linz are stronger at home this season than they have been for a decade - the last time this figure was higher was in the 2014/15 season. However, the current 1:2 deficit is a tricky starting position for the Black Wings. They have already trailed 1:2 nine times in a “best-of-7” series, but have only managed to turn the series around twice (quarter-final against Zagreb in 2018 and against Graz in 2025). In addition, Linz lost game four six out of nine times. In the first home game of this series against the KAC, the Upper Austrians were beaten 2:4.

HCB Südtirol Alperia - EC Red Bull Salzburg
Adam Helewka scored the game-winner for Bolzano in the 69th minute on Sunday, meaning the home team is trailing 1:2 after three games in the second semi-final series too. Salzburg started the series with a 3:1 home win and a 3:2 away win. On Sunday, the Red Bulls finally conceded their first defeat in this year's playoffs. Bolzano's home defeat last Friday was their first after seven consecutive home wins. Salzburg, on the other hand, have won their last five away games. In the Regular Season, South Tyrol won one of the two home games.
