Big Win for the Black Wings Linz
The Steinbach Black Wings Linz earned a crucial victory against second-place HCB Südtirol Alperia on Sunday evening. After a scoreless opening period, Greg Moro broke through in the 47th minute, beating Sam Harvey, who had held opponents scoreless for over 180 minutes prior. Luka Maver doubled the lead in the 49th minute, putting Linz up 2–0. However, Bolzano fought back, with Luka Frigo finding the net just 45 seconds before the final buzzer. Linz goalie Rasmus Tirronen made a clutch save just 10 seconds before the end, scraping the puck off the line after a last-ditch Bolzano shot. With this win, Linz increased their lead over seventh-placed Villach to four points.

Graz Wins High-Scoring Battle Against Asiago
The Moser Medical Graz99ers celebrated a decisive 8–3 victory in a goal-filled clash with Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, further solidifying their top-6 position. Asiago struck first, but Graz turned up the heat, taking a 3–1 lead by the end of the first period. The second period remained intense, with Asiago narrowing the gap twice, only for Graz to respond immediately each time. In the final period, the Graz99ers left no doubt about their dominance, adding more goals to seal the win. Lukas Haudum led the way with three assists, capping off a commanding performance.

Pustertal Downs VSV in Overtime
After a disappointing Friday game against Asiago, HC Pustertal bounced back on Sunday with an impressive overtime win. Pustertal and Villach delivered a playoff-caliber showdown in the first two periods, highlighted by stellar goaltending from Eddie Pasquale (HCP) and Joe Cannata (VSV), who kept the game scoreless through 40 minutes. Gustav Bouramman put the home team ahead in the 42nd minute, but Max Coatta equalized for Villach. In overtime, Tommy Purdeller scored on the power play to secure the extra point for the South Tyroleans.
