The Steinbach Black Wings Linz have won two of their three preseason games so far, and the Upper Austrians will face Augsburg at home on Wednesday. The last head-to-head clash in a test game dates back to 2019, when the team from Linz travelled to Germany and suffered a 0:2 defeat. Head coach Phil Lukas' team will have all of the regulars who were rested at the weekend back in the line-up. Nico Feldner and Emil Romig, who had been ill recently, were also able to train again on Tuesday and are expected to play against Augsburg.

Capitals celebrate home debut
On Thursday, the spusu Vienna Capitals welcome the Czech representative HC Kometa Brno for the first of two home games in preseason. Last weekend, the Viennese celebrated their first win (5:2 over Schwenningen), they have also suffered two defeats.
