HK SZ Olimpija has extended the contract with Rok Kapel for the upcoming season in the win2day ICE Hockey League. However, the second best scorer of the "Dragons" with 29 points will be loaned to EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel with immediate effect and for the rest of the current season.

With 14 goals and 15 assists, Rok Kapel is the second best scorer from HK SZ Olimpija in the current season. The Slovenian international, who is only 23 years old, was transferred to the "Dragons" last season and will also play for Ljubljana at least in the upcoming season.

For the expiring campaign, the forward is no longer available, as the two-time goal scorer in the Champions Hockey League moves to the Alps Hockey League and supports EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel in the remaining games of intermediate round and pre playoffs. Kapel has already played 84 games for the EC-KAC Future Team in the cross-national league, finishing with 43 goals and 53 assists.

"We all want to be better next season and we will work hard for that. The motivation is high. I feel very comfortable in Ljubljana, thanks to fans and club for their trust," says Rok Kapel.
