Beauvillier makes strong debut for Ljubljana
Francis Beauvillier celebrated a strong debut for HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana. With one goal and one assist, he was one of the main characters in the 3:1 road win over EHC Lustenau - the game had to be played in the Dornbirn due to official requirements. After their fifth win in a row, the Slovenians are now only two points behind leaders HC Pustertal in the standings, but have played three games less. Already after 90 seconds the reigning champions got on the scoreboard through Mark Sever (2.), who scored for the third time in a row. In the 8th minute, newcomer Beauvillier increased the score to 2:0, underlining the strong starting third of the guests. In the middle period, Lustenau adjusted better to its opponent, the game became more open - and the EHC first line provided the equalizer through Martin Grabher Meier (36.). Finally, Paavo Holsa “dragons” goalkeeper secured the win for the hosts. Lustenau had to admit defeat again after five wins in a row.

Asiago takes seventh straight home win
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey has extended its impressive home winning streak. The clear 6:2 victory over SHC Fassa Falcons was already the seventh home win in a row for the third-ranked side. In none of the last seven home games Asiago had to concede more than two goals. In the fourth duel of these two teams 20/21, the home team prevailed for the first time. From the start, the Italians were clearly more active and dominated the game. After the early lead by Simone Olivero (6.) was quickly tied, Tessari (14.), McParland (20.) and Rosa (24./PP1) set the course for victory for the former AHL champion. In the end, comebacker Marek Vankus also scored, six different players scored for Asiago.

Four PP goals gives Klagenfurt first win at Kitzbühel
In the sixth stop at the “eagles”, EC-KAC II celebrated its first win in Kitzbühel. Thanks to four powerplay goals, the young "Rotjacken" prevailed 6:3 at EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. Two empty-net goals finally ensured the high final score. The Carinthians, who are ranked 15th, are now only four points behind the Tyroleans (#13). Twice Klagenfurt turned around a one-goal deficit, once let slip away a plus one. The decision was made by Samuel Witting in the 54th minute, who finished with two goals and an assist and scored for the fourth time in a row.
