Luka Vidmar replaces injured Brett Flemming at Bolzano

The HCB Südtirol Alperia replaced injured Brett Flemming with Luka Vidmar. Due to a broken finger Flemming will be out four to five weeks. The 33-year-old Slovene enters the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga for the second time, after the 2017-18 season at Hydro Fehérvár AV19.

Past season Vidmar played at HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana, winning the Alps Hockey League and the Slovenian Championship. During his career the defender spent about nine years in the United States, after he started playing hockey in Ljubljana. Further he played one season at Czech Republic (BL Mlada Boleslav), Norway (Stjernen Hockey) and Denmark (Frederikshavn). During his first year in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga he posted two goals and 16 assists.
