The EHC Lustenau celebrated in the only Friday game of the Alps Hockey League a sovereign 5:1 success as a guest of the EC KAC II and thus remains in lurking position for the leader of the Qualification Round A. Among the Vorarlbergers newcomer Radek Duda made a successful debut with three assists. The KAC remain without points in the intermediate round.

EHC Lustenau scored a 5:1 victory over EC-KAC II in the only Friday game of the Alps Hockey League. Right from the start the guests from Vorarlberg controlled the action on the ice. After only 31 seconds Ryan Glenn opened the scoring. Chris D'Alvise increased the lead. Lustenau remained the controlling team and took a 5:1 lead in the second period. Klagenfurt didn't come back into the match and had to accept their second defeat in the second game of Qualification Group A.
