Standings in the "best-of-five" series: 1:2
Without a chance were the Rittner Buam on Thursday at the HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. The South Tyroleans were defeated 0:6 and remained without a goal for the first time since January 22nd and 22 games. So far, the home team has always had the upper hand in this series. In Ritten, the "Buam" narrowly prevailed 3:2. It was their first home win over Jesenice after four home defeats in a row. Jesenice could not win any of the last two away games. Should the Slovenians prevail on Saturday, it would be their first final appearance in the history of the Alps Hockey League. The "Buam" would have to say goodbye in the semifinals of the AHL for the first time. So far, they have reached the semifinals twice and then they qualified for the final. In 2017, they won the only title so far.

Standings in the "best-of-5" series: 1:2

The EHC Lustenau lost 4:2 at Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey on Thursday, with the home side already having a 3:0 advantage after 23 minutes. All three goals scored Asiago, against the second best penalty killing in the league, in the powerplay. Lustenau came back to 2:3 and even had chances to equalize, but in the end lost against the Italians for the third time this season. The EHC was victorious four times in the H2H this season.
