Feldkirch with seventh victory in a row
The BEMER VEU Feldkirch already celebrated the seventh victory in a row and was therefore also not to be defeated by the SHC Fassa Falcons. For the Italians, on the other hand, it was the first defeat after eight wins in a row before, the last game they had on December 29th. After a scoreless first period, Dylan Stanley scored right at the beginning of the middle period to give the VEU the lead. The Canadian also scored to make the score 3:0. Steven Birnstill provided the 2:0 in the power play. VEU goalie Alex Caffi was able to save all 29 shots on his goal and thus celebrate his second shutout of the season.

Lustenau and Young Bulls successful in the shootout
The EHC Lustenau and the Red Bull Hockey Juniors were both successful away from home and in the shootout. The EHC held the upper hand at second-placed Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey with 2:1-SO. In regular playing time, Dominic Haberl (20.) scored to give the Vorarlberg team the lead. In the shootout it was Remy Giftopoulos who scored the decisive penalty. Lustenau is still in fourth place in the standings and can no longer be pushed out of the top six.

Immediately ahead of them are the Rittner Buam, who were beaten with 3:4-SO by the Red Bull Hockey Juniors. In a very even game, the guests from Salzburg were able to take revenge for the clear 2:8 defeat in the first leg. Thomas Heigl was the only player to score in the power play and brought the Young Bulls a big step closer to the Master Round. Currently in fifth place, RBJ can fix the Top-6 on the last matchday of the first phase of the Regular Season on their own with a win.

League leader Jesenice wins with 11 goals scored
The Steel Wings Linz had no chance against league leader HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. The Slovenians clearly kept the upper hand with 11:3. Jesenice scored six times in the final period. After the first period the score was still 1:1. Jesperi Viikila was the most successful player of the evening with three goals. While JES won for the ninth time in a row, SWL lost for the ninth time in the last ten games.

Broncos and Capitals Silver win narrowly
Both the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan and the Vienna Capitals Silver picked up home wins. While the Broncos' 4:2 win over the EC-KAC Future Team was not a big surprise, Vienna's 3:2 win over the HC Gherdeina Valgardena.it was very surprising. In the sixth AHL duel between the two teams, it was the second win for VCS, with Christoph Draschkowitz scoring his first brace. For Val Gardena, on the other hand, the slide continues. Due to the fourth defeat in a row, the Top-6 are out of reach. They are currently ninth in the table. The Silver Caps are still at the bottom of the table despite their sixth win of the season.

For Sterzing it was the second win in a row. The Future Team, on the other hand, conceded its fourth defeat in a row. Away from home, the team from Klagenfurt conceded its twelfth consecutive defeat. After two periods the score was still even (2:2). In the final period, the home side scored twice to claim their twelfth win over KFT in the 16th AHL duel.
