Lustenau close on Jesenice's heels
EHC Lustenau not only extended their own winning streak to four games, but also ended the seven-game winning streak of HDD SIJ Acorni Jesenice. With the 7:4 win, the Vorarlberg team climbed to second place in the table and reduced the gap to the Slovenian leader to four points. However, the visitors from Jesenice started strongly and already led 2:0 after just four minutes. Lustenau scored the equalizer in the first period before Max Wilfan equalized at the beginning of the middle period. Jesenice regained the lead twice in the same period - but the hosts were able to equalize immediately in each case. A brace from Wilfan - his second and third goals of the evening - gave Lustenau the lead for the first time at the start of the final period. The Slovenians were unable to fight back and the Vorarlberg side eventually prevailed 7-4.

Broncos end series of Salzburg
The Wipptal Sterzing Broncos were not only able to end the five-game winning streak of the Salzburgers, but also won for the first time after six defeats themselves. After a goalless starting third, however, it was Red Bull Hockey Juniors who took the lead at first. In the final period Niklas Salo managed to equalize for overtime. After the extra period was also scoreless, Salo decided the game in the penalty shootout. While Salzburg missed the chance to further reduce the gap to the top of the table, the Broncos climbed to 13th place.
