Lustenau celebrates derby victory against Feldkirch thanks to outstanding ten minutes

The EHC Lustenau won the Vorarlbergderby at the VEU Feldkirch with 6:3 thanks to outstanding ten minutes in the final period. The EHC scored all six goals in only ten minutes of play. Chris D'Alvise (EHC) scored three times. The EC Bregenzerwald celebrated their fourth victory in a row. The "Wälder" won with 3:1 at the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. The HC Pustertal Wölfe achieved an unchallenged 5:2 away win at the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. In the fourth game of the day the Rittner Buam won with 4:1 at the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. The "Buam" scored all four goals in the first thirteen minutes of play. Two games could not take place due to bad weather conditions and will be made up at a later date.

Three goals of D'Alvise at derby victory of Lustenau over Feldkirch
Thanks to an outstanding final period, the EHC Lustenau won the 17th Vorarlbergderby at the VEU Feldkirch with 6:3. After 40 minutes the hosts from Feldkirch were leading with 2:0. League top scorer Jakob Stukel scored both goals. These were already the season goals 14 and 15 for the Canadian. But then the minutes from Chris D'Alvise came. The 34-year-old Canadian scored three times within five minutes and thus turned the game around on his own. The Center even scored the goal to make it 2:2 in numerical disadvantage. All in all, the EHC needed only ten minutes to score all six goals. Thanks to the victory Lustenau shortened the score in the H2H to 8:9. In the league table the EHC overtook the VEU and is in fifth place (20 points). Feldkirch follows in sixth place (17 points).

Pustertal against Sterzing without any problems
The HC Pustertal Wölfe won at the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan with 5:2 and continued its high flight. While the "Wolves" celebrated their third victory in a row, the Broncos lost for the sixth time in a row. In the league table PUS climbed up to the second place, WSV is in 13th place. After only seven minutes of play the guests were already leading with 2:0. In the first twelve minutes a total of five goals were scored. PUS was leading with 3:2. Then the defense of both teams stabilised. The remaining two goals of the guests were scored in the second period. The final goal was scored by Brett Perlini, who scored twice for the first time this season. In the H2H Pustertal now leads with 10:3.

Altitude flight of Bregenzerwald continues 
The EC Bregenzerwald celebrated its fourth victory in a row. The Vorarlberg team won at the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel with 3:1. It was the fourth victory in a row for the ECB. In the league table the ECB improved to the seventh place and ranks thus directly behind the two large competitors from Vorarlberg, the EHC Lustenau and the VEU Feldkirch. Kitzbühel ranks directly behind Bregenzerwald on eight place. It was Kitzbühel's first defeat against Bregenzerwald after four consecutive wins. The match was extremely balanced from the beginning. The guests took the lead in the ninth minute of the game. Right at the beginning of the second period the KEC was able to equalize. The decision was made in the final period. In the 46th minute of play Julian Zwerger scored the 2:1 lead for the ECB. Only two minutes later Jesper Akerman doubled the lead and scored the final score to make it 3:1.

Ritten decides game in Val Gardena in first 13 minutes of play
The Rittner Buam won at the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it with 4:1. All four goals were scored by the "Buam" already in the first 13 minutes of play. For Ritten it was the first victory after three defeats in a row. Val Gardena lost for the second time in a row, for the fifth time in a row it set a defeat for GHE at home. In the league table Val Gardena is in tenth place, Ritten is in 14th place. In total, all five goals of the match were scored in the first 18 minutes of play. Andreas Lutz (RIT) opened the scoring in the sixth minute of the game. The guests scored three more goals within four minutes. The hosts' only goal was scored by Matt Wilkins in the 18th minute of play. No further goals were scored in period number two and three. Ritten thus continued its dominance in the AHL against Gröden. In the eleventh duel it was the tenth victory for the Buam.
