The EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau further ensured their second place in Alps Hockey League. Lustenau celebrated a 3:2 success against the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan in Tuesday’s only game. Max Wilfan scored all goals for the home team.

The EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau started with a lot of pressure into the game. The Austrians created many chances and didn’t let the Broncos to find their rhythm. Max Wilfan opened the scoring after eleven minutes. After that, Lustenau kept the control. Moments before the end of the first period it was again Wilfan who doubled the lead in powerplay. A different Broncos team came out in the second period. The Italians increased their pressure and fought back into the game. Jure Sotlar narrowed the gap in the 26th minute. Roland Hofer succeeded with the tie six minutes later in powerplay. In the final period it was Max Wilfan for the third time. The 27-year old Austrian decided the game with all three goals for the home team.
