Lustenau signs defender Mads Larsen

The EHC Lustenau announced the signing of defender Mads Larsen and extended contracts with five players. While the roster planning in Zell am See is already well advanced, defender Nick Rein becomes signed with Merano. In addition, David Musial will continue to be the head coach of the Hockey Club Gherdëina.

New player and five extensions in Lustenau
The EHC Lustenau announced the signing of defender Mads Larsen. The 26-year-old Dane was last active with Frederikshavn White Hawks, scoring 13 points in 27 games. Lustenau also extended the contract with Chris D'Alvise, after the forward collected 26 goals and 32 assists in his fourth season with the Vorarlberg side. Fabio Haas, Lenz Moosbrugger, Leon Schmeiser and Robin Wüstner will also play for the Vorarlberg side in the coming AHL season. All four forwards made great progress under coach Mike Flanagan last campaign.In addition, Brian Connelly and Elias Wallenta have left.

The roster planning in Zell am See is already well advanced
Tobias Dinhopel extended his contract with EK Zeller Eisbären for another year and thus enters his eleventh season with the club. In the past campaign, the 32-year-old winger recorded 15 points (6G, 9A) in 45 games.

Daniel Vojta will head into his fourth season with Zell am See, playing two in the Alps Hockey League. The defender collected one goal and three assists in the past campaign.

In addition, Alexander Frandl and David Rattensberger will play with the Salzburg side for another ️two seasons. Both players are part of the team since past campaign.

Head coach Musial stays with Gherdeina
David Musial will continue to be the head coach of the Hockey Club Gherdëina in the upcoming season. Musial has held this position since January 2022. The 46-year-old Czech will be assisted by his compatriot Patrik Nechvatal.

Nick Rein becomes an eagle
The HC Meran/o announced the signing of Nick Rein. It's the second year in South Tyrol for the 25-year-old defender as he played for HC Toblach in the IHL last season (9G and 24A in 36 games). Before moving to Europe, Rein hit the ice for four years for the New England College.
