Finn Arttu Luttinen will go for goals and points for Fehervar AV19 in the upcoming season as well. The 34-year old power-forward was a key-player in the team 2017/18, he had 28 points (11G/17A) out of 53 Erste Bank Eishockey Liga games. Prior, Luttinen played most time in his home-country Finnland. "I really enjoyed playing in EBEL, because its fast and open hockey. Szekesfehervar was nice place in many ways so it was clear choice for me to stay. I think we can play better than last year. We were so close getting in to the playoffs so I definitely want to be part of it so we can make it next season. Fans and the atmosphere at the games are awesome. We have the best fans in the league! I'm excited to be back and waiting new season to start.", reported Luttinen.

Vice-Champion EC Red Bull Salzburg has presented US-American Steve Michalek as their new goalie. The 24-year old netminder will start his europe-career in Salzburg and in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Michalek played 69 AHL games for Iowa Wild during the last three years. Besides, he played 24 games for the Quad City Mallards and six matches for Rapid City Rush in the East Cost Hockey League during that span.

Canadian Jamie Arniel went from Dornbirn Bulldogs to EV Vienna Capitals. The 28-year old forward is known as a reliable scorer, he has already earned 234 points (90G/144A) out of 261 Erste Bank Eishockey League-games.

EC-KAC has signed Finn Siim Liivik. The 30-year old forward went for goals and points for KooKoo (FIN) last season, scoring 16 points (4G/12A, PIM: 79) out of 42 games. 2011, he has won the Finish Top-Liiga with HIFK from Helsinki.

The youngsters Tobias Fender (F), Tobias Krippels (F), Marcel Westerthaler (F), Thomas Zeiner (F), Dominic Riedl (D) and Lukas Jaunegg (D) join the first team of HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“. All six players played for the U20-team of the Sharks in the EBYSL past season.
