David Maier, currently part of the Austrian men's national team at the World Championships in Finland, has extended his contract with EC-KAC by two years. The 23-year-old defender started his hockey career at Klagenfurt, before he moved to Södertälje SK in Sweden followed by two seasons in Canada's top junior league. Later he returned to Klagenfurt, playing for the Future Team and was loan to Linz too. Overall Maier played 97 ICE games (3G|10A).

Second season for Bourke in Salzburg
EC Red Bull Salzburg and Troy Bourke will continue their cooperation, as the Canadian forward came to Salzburg last summer, but after a promising start he suffered a long-term injury, before coming back at the beginning of the playoffs (5G|6A).

Woborsky in expanded Graz squad
The Moser Medical Graz99ers have elevated Leo Woborsky from the Styrian Ice Hockey Academy to the professional squad. The 18-year-old moved to the academy from Norway in the 20-21 season and scored 15 goals and 7 assists for the U20 team last season.
