Milano Hockey Club has brought in Samuel Houde. The 26-year-old Canadian most recently played in the Swiss League but missed the entire past season due to a serious forearm injury. Prior to that, the skilled two-way center gained experience in both the AHL and ECHL.

Samuel Houde: “I want to prove I'm back to the player I was — and get even better. I'm training every day to be ready. On the ice I'd describe myself as a playmaker: I like to have control of the puck, but I consider myself reliable defensively too.”

Two Canadian forwards for the Pioneers
Noah Serdachny and Blake Murray are expected to add quality, depth, and scoring power to Vorarlberg’s offense in the upcoming season. Serdachny (23) most recently played for Long Island University in the NCAA. The right-handed shot is considered a versatile offensive player who brings speed, hockey sense, and a strong drive to the net. Murray (24) can play both center and left wing and was most recently under contract with the Fort Wayne Komets in the ECHL. He was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the sixth round of the 2019 NHL Draft and brings valuable experience from various North American leagues.

Mantenuto stays in Bolzano
Daniel Mantenuto is set to enter his fifth season with HCB Südtirol Alperia. Since 2022, the center has developed into a key offensive contributor, impressing with consistency and work rate: in 237 games in the win2day ICE Hockey League, he has recorded 102 points while taking only 30 penalty minutes. Internationally, the 28-year-old is also a regular member of the Italian national team, with appearances at World Championships and the 2026 Olympic Games.
