Last season, defender Mario Ebner was on the ice for Tours in the French second division. Before that, he played for Kitzbühel in the Alps Hockey League for more than seven seasons. With his return, Innsbruck's squad for the coming season has been finalized.

Mario Ebner: "The club contacted me and I was extremely happy to get the call. I'm grateful that the coaching team and the other people in charge have given me the confidence to play for my home club once again. The talks beforehand were productive right from the start and the people in charge convinced me that the move back to Innsbruck was exactly the right one. I believe that something big can happen here again. I'm already looking forward to giving my all for the club again in the TIWAG Arena together with the lads."

New forward for the Pioneers
Collin Adams was drafted by the New York Islanders in 2016 and played two seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL), the second-highest league in North America. Last season, the technically strong left winger went to Europe - with success: in 43 games for HC Nove Zamky, he collected 29 scoring points.

Pioneers Head Coach Johannes Nygard: "We are delighted to have acquired a player like Collin Adams for our team. Collin is a strong and intelligent player who has proven his qualities both in North America and in Europe. We expect him to play an important role in our team in the coming season. In addition, everyone we spoke to described him as an extremely good teammate - which made our decision easy."
