League newcomer Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey announced the first new signing in the offense. The 24-year-old Canadian Adam Mascherin signed a contract with the Italians until 2025. Most recently, the left-shooter was active with Skellefteå AIK Hockey in the Swedish SHL (15 games - 7G / 1A). It was his first stop in Europe.

At the beginning of his career Adam Mascherin shone for many years in the OHL. In four years with the Kitchener Rangers, the offensive player scored remarkable 296 points. After his time with the Rangers, the left-shooter moved to the American Hockey League, to the Texas Stars, where he scored 89 points in three seasons. At the beginning of last season, Mascherin finally made the leap to Europe and signed with Skellefteå AIK Hockey in Sweden. The player, who was drafted by the Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers, recorded eight points in 15 games.
