Referees: LAZZERI, MOSCHEN, Cristeli, De Zordo
After trailing 0:1 in the series, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey meanwhile gained the 2-1 lead and thus the match puck for the final. HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, on the other hand, who finished the regular season as the second-placed team, will play on Thursday against the season's end and would miss the final for the repeated time. The Slovenian team has qualified for the Alps Hockey League semifinals every season, but has never made it to the finals. Asiago, on the other hand, even managed to capture the Alps Hockey League title in the 2017/18 season. The Yellow won 5:3 in the third game of the "best-of-five" semifinal series. For Jesenice it was only the second AHL home defeat this season. Alex Frei has been particularly convincing for Asiago in the playoffs. He scored seven goals and four assists in six games.

Thu, 10.04.2021, 19:30: EHC Lustenau - HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana
Referees: HOLZER, SCHAUER, Eisl, Martin.
EHC Lustenau fended off the first match puck from HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljuna and thus extended their own season by at least one game. However, the Vorarlbergers still need two more successes in a row to land the big surprise with a spot in the final. Ljubljana had to take the first defeat in these playoffs on Tuesday, or the first defeat since March 9. For EHC it was the first win against HKO after four losses in a row. In the playoffs, it was the first ever success of the Vorarlberg over the Slovenians. Already in the 2018/19 season, both teams faced each other in the semifinals. At that time, the "Dragons" celebrated three clear victories. In this series, however, Lustenau already showed its teeth. In the first game of the semifinals, the Vorarlberg team was able to keep up for long stretches before they were defeated 2:4. After a blowout in game two, they managed to win the thrid game. Christopher D'Alvise in particular proved to be dangerous in the playoffs. With seven goals and four assists he leads the scoring together with Alex Frei.
