A look at the latest transfer activity in the Alps Hockey League: Max Coatta joins EK Die Zeller Eisbären. The 32-year-old appeared in the win2day ICE Hockey League over the past two seasons and, following his stint with Ritten, will now take on his second Alps Hockey League stop. New signings and loan moves have also been announced by Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, HC Meran/o Pircher, and the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. Meanwhile, KHL Sisak continue to rely on Vilim Rosandić, having confirmed the extension of the Croatian goaltender’s contract. Extensions have also been announced by the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan and HC Migross Asiago.

EK Die Zeller Eisbären
Zell am See have strengthened their offensive lineup with the signing of Max Coatta. The US forward already featured for Ritten in the Alps Hockey League during the 2023/24 season, recording 68 points. He then moved to EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV in the win2day ICE Hockey League before joining the Innsbruck Haie last season. In addition, the Polar Bears have secured the services of two young Austrian defensemen on loan from the Moser Medical Graz99ers: Paul Reiner and Johannes Gruber. For Reiner, it will be a second spell in Pinzgau, while Gruber returns to Austria after a stint in Sweden.

KHL Sisak
Vilim Rosandić will continue as KHL Sisak’s starting goaltender next season. The 29-year-old is set for his third campaign with the Croatian club. With a save percentage of 92 percent, Rosandić ranked fourth among all Alps Hockey League goaltenders last season. Defenders Karlo Marinković (22) and Fran Završki (21) will also remain with the semi-finalists and continue to wear the Sisak jersey.

Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel
Kitzbühel have brought in two Austrian prospects on loan from the Moser Medical Graz99ers: goaltender Patrick Grascher and defenseman Lennart Braun. Grascher already appeared for the Tyroleans last season, playing one game. Braun, 19, made 20 appearances for the reigning win2day ICE Hockey League champions last season and now joins Kitzbühel as a newly crowned champion.

HC Meran/o Pircher
Vice champions Meran have strengthened their offense with Israeli international Michael Levin. The 20-year-old forward played in Romania last season after developing entirely in Canada.

Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan
The Broncos have announced the contract extensions of three players. Alongside forwards Marco Niccolai and Erik Hofer, defenseman Liam Nardon will also remain with the Broncos.

HC Migross Asiago
19-year-old Giacomo Marcazzan will continue to play for Asiago. The forward appeared in nine Alps Hockey League games last season and also played for Feltre. In addition, he captained Asiago’s U19 team.

Hockey Unterland Cavaliers
The Cavaliers have signed 21-year-old Finnish defenseman Niko Nissilä. It will be his first professional stint outside Finland.
