Meran/o got off to a perfect start: after just four minutes, Samuel Claesson opened the scoring, and only three minutes later, Filip Cruseman doubled the lead on the power play. Still in the opening period, Giovanni Mandruzzato made it 3-0 to give his team a comfortable advantage. KHL Sisak took over more of the play as the game went on, but goaltender Andreas Bernard stood tall and didn’t allow a single goal. In the final period, David Gellon added a power-play marker to make it 4-0 and secure a well-deserved home win for Meran/o.
