Angelo Miceli bounced between AHL and ECHL for three seasons and moved to Bolzano in 2017. His statistics speak for themselves: in 338 official games between the championship and the Champions Hockey League, he has totaled 203 points (79 + 124), won a championship trophy and reached the final twice. In addition, Miceli is the player with the most presences in the white-red jersey after Frank and Frigo. Moreover, among the still active Italian players of HCB, he is the one with the best scoring average and the most goals scored (78) from 2013 to date.

In the 2022/23 season, he brought it to 16 goals and 15 assist in 66 games. He has also been part of the Italian national team since the 2019 World Cup, scoring six points (2 goals and 4 assists) in five matches at the last First Division Group A World Cup.

Angelo Miceli: "Bolzano is my home. I have been here for seven years now and next year I will marry my fiancée, who is South Tyrolean. I like it here, I always have and it is an honor to wear this jersey. We were just short of 9 minutes for the perfect year, but I would like to say a few words about the environment: it was an incredible season with a wonderful group, it was a pleasure to work with them every day and have fun. In addition, we were finally able to play in a sold-out stadium again in the playoffs, which was always well attended during the Regular Season. The fans are always our seventh man on the ice. The upcoming season will be a new start, every year is different, but our goal is always the same: we have to work from day one and work our way to what we want to achieve, step by step. Of course we want to get to the end and we must always keep this in mind: Goal number one is to finish in the top six and therefore reach the playoffs. The CHL gives us the opportunity to show what we can do and that we are competitive with the whole of Europe."
