Milan prevail in top clash in Klagenfurt
The visitors took an early lead with a power-play goal in the third minute and extended their advantage to 3-0 by the 30-minute mark. The final period saw a flurry of action: the hosts pulled one back but were unable to capitalize on a 5-on-3 power play. Caamano then scored his second goal of the night and sealed a 4-2 final score with an empty-netter. With this result, the Italians handed KAC their first loss of the campaign.

South Tyrolean teams also win on the road
Pustertal came out on top in their second final rematch of the season as well. The Wolves defeated Graz 4-1. After the guests took the lead in the middle period, the defending champions equalized early in the third, but a brace from Lipon put the South Tyroleans firmly in control.

HCB Südtirol Alperia also had reason to celebrate. The Bolzano side were the better team for long stretches in Salzburg and won 4-1. Bradley and McClure scored in the opening period for HCB, who secured the victory late in the game.

Linz make it exciting again
As a few days earlier against the Pioneers, the Steinbach Black Wings Linz once again surrendered a three-goal lead in Budapest on Wednesday, but ultimately prevailed. Lebler made it 3-0 just after the halfway point, but FTC Telekom responded with three goals in two minutes. Topping restored the momentum, and Linz won 5-3.

Spectacle in the western derby; one goal enough for Fehérvár
HC TIWAG Innsbruck and Pioneers Vorarlberg delivered an open, high-scoring western derby. The Tyroleans took the lead on several occasions, with the visitors repeatedly answering back. In the third period, the home side pulled away again with goals from Bär and Macierzynski, ultimately winning 5-4.

Hydro Fehérvár AV19, meanwhile, needed just one goal for a home win against VSV, where Rauchenwald marked his comeback. Farkas scored the only goal of the game on the power play, and goaltender Reijola recorded his first shutout of the season.
