More than 100.000 fans in the playoffs

The fan boom in the win2day ICE Hockey League continues, as last weekend, the 100,000 spectator mark was surpassed in the 2024 playoffs. For the first time this season, a home game of EC Red Bull Salzburg was also sold out. This makes the defending champions the eleventh club to reach the maximum capacity limit at least once this season.

115.426 spectators have watched the 34 playoff games of the win2day ICE Hockey League in the arenas so far. On average, 3.394 fans attended, while in the six semifinal games, 3.915 fans per game were counted.

Salzburg sold out for the first time on Sunday
With 3.400 fans, a home game of EC Red Bull Salzburg was also sold out for the first time this season on Sunday. The reigning champions of the win2day ICE Hockey League are thus the eleventh club to reach the maximum capacity limit this season.

Heidi Horten arena "sold out" nine times in a row
The EC-KAC has always filled the Heidi Horten-Arena to the last seat in its last nine games. In the current season, a total of 18 Rotjacken home games have been sold out. Klagenfurt's semifinal opponent HC Pustertal Wölfe is heading for its fourth sold-out home game in a row in semifinal four (Tuesday, 7:30 pm live on PULS24). This would be the eighth time this year that the Intercable Arena has been filled to capacity. On Sunday lunchtime, only 36 tickets were still available.
