Since 2003, the month of November has been dedicated to men's health under the banner of "Movember" (a play on the words MOustache and NoVEMBER). The common goal of all is to raise awareness and thus make a difference to men's health. After all, the eye-catching moustaches are a great way to spread the message, draw attention to preventive check-ups and collect donations.

Numerous players from the win2day ICE Hockey League have also grown a moustache for a good cause over the past 30 days. One of them is referee Milan Zrnic, who even celebrated a "Movember anniversary". "I took part for the tenth time, this kind of awareness-raising is important to me. Unfortunately, we live in a time when cancer and mental health problems are quite common. It's sad that we all have a relative or friend who has struggled with this diseases. Some have overcome, others sadly have not - they are all my heroes. Everyone has its own reason for growing a moustache this month. Growing a moustache is my way of remembering the deceased and supporting those who are still struggling and fighting. They need to know that they are not alone. There are a lot of spectators on games of the win2day ICE Hockey League. I therefore welcome the participation of players or team staff. After all, they are role models, especially for children and young people," says the Slovenian referee.
